Green Smoothie Recipe

January for me is time where I reflect upon my life and my current state. I look at what I have achieved thus far and what I want to achieve in the coming year. As a result of this I review my current health and ways I can improve it such as going to the gym more often or eating healthier.

I love fruits and vegetables. I find that a healthy and more fun way of consuming them can be through smoothies. So, I have listed down below one of my favourite smoothie recipes which I regularly make in the morning to start my day off.

Ingredients:
1 1/2 ripe bananas, peeled, diced
8-9 medium fresh strawberries
2 mandarin oranges, peeled and halved
300g packed baby spinach
250ml cold water
128g ice

Method:
Add bananas, strawberries, oranges, spinach, water and half of the ice to a blender. Blend until combined then add remaining ice and blend until smoothie is well pureed. Happy smoothie making!
